About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You ensure that critical energy-sector processes run reliably, automatically and in compliance — even when other systems are idle.
  • You operate at the heart of the energy IT landscape and take responsibility for business-critical processes: energy supplier system environments & processes, market communication (MaKo), billing & invoicing, energy data management (EDM, time-series processing), and device & meter processes (smart metering).
  • You operate, monitor and stabilize modern job-scheduling and workload automation platforms.
  • You ensure that all batch processes across the energy value chain run reliably.
  • You analyze incidents, take over incident handling and perform root-cause analyses.
  • You are a central success factor for stable value chains at energy suppliers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in workload automation (Automic/UC4 and/or RunMyJobs).
  • Ideally a strong understanding of energy-sector batch and background processes.
  • Confident in working with scripting languages.
  • Experience with SAP job control and interfaces.
  • Know-how in monitoring, logging & performance tuning.

Benefits

Comp & perks
  • Varied projects with real scope for shaping solutions at well-known energy providers that are highly relevant to the energy transition.
  • Modern working environment with up-to-date technologies and real opportunities to influence.
  • Strong team spirit: we support one another and find solutions together, even in challenging projects.
  • Flexible working: whether you are an early riser or a night owl — you can work remotely or hybrid and manage your working hours independently.
  • Reliable working hours: a 40-hour week is treated as a 40-hour week, with reasonable flexibility for project dynamics.
  • Open culture & flat hierarchies: your opinion counts, feedback is welcome and decisions are made at eye level.
  • Fair compensation: salary depending on experience and qualifications (approx. €70,000–€80,000 p.a.).
  • Rest & development: 30 days of vacation plus individual training and development opportunities.
  • Attractive benefits: e-bike leasing, Hansefit membership, company pension scheme, supplementary health insurance.
  • Team events: regular team events — from relaxed to active. Your ideas are welcome.
