About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and own comprehensive testing strategies – from automated tests and exploratory testing to UI, API, and integration tests.
Ensure quality is considered from the start, following the shift-left principle.
Collaborate with Product Owners and developers throughout the agile development process.
Responsible for building and maintaining test repositories and test data.
Execute regular regression testing.
Advance QA processes and leverage innovative, AI-supported testing approaches.
Build and continuously improve test automation frameworks.
Share best practices and promote a sustainable quality culture.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a comparable software development role.
Solid knowledge of modern testing methods.
ISTQB certification (at least Foundation Level) is required.
Practical experience with automated UI and API testing, ideally in an SAP or Fiori environment.
Experience in test management, particularly with test repositories, test data management, and regression testing.
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Good understanding of software development processes.
Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working style combined with strong communication skills.
Ideally basic SAP knowledge, experience with performance or security testing, and monitoring tools.
Interest in AI-assisted testing methods.
