About the role

  • Responsibility for the secure and stable operation of the IT infrastructure in Microsoft and Linux environments.
  • Support of central IT services (M365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, firewalls, VPN).
  • Administration and maintenance of VMware clusters connected to Fiber Channel systems and the associated backup infrastructure.
  • Maintenance and further development of the system and network environment.
  • Planning, preparation and execution of IT projects.
  • User and application support at 1st- and 2nd-level.
  • Documentation and implementation of measures in the areas of information security and cyber security.
  • Establishment and further development of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to common standards such as ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz.

Requirements

  • Completed training or degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience as a system administrator in medium-sized or larger companies.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in security and IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of M365 (including Entra ID, Intune for Android, Apple and Microsoft devices, and SharePoint).
  • Solid networking knowledge in TCP/IP, IPv6 and IPsec VPN.
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft and Linux system landscapes.
  • Proficient in working with VMware, Fiber Channel, Veeam and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in information security and cyber security.
  • Basic SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
