About the role

  • Responsible for the secure and stable operation of our IT infrastructure in Microsoft and Linux environments.
  • Management of core services (M365, AD, Azure AD, Intune, firewalls, VPN).
  • Administration of VMware and storage systems.
  • Further development of our IT security and network environment.
  • Establishment and operation of our ISMS (Information Security Management System) while ensuring the highest security standards.
  • Ensure a stable and secure system environment in Microsoft and Linux landscapes.
  • Administration and maintenance of VMware clusters with connected Fibre Channel systems and the associated backup infrastructure.
  • Implementation, configuration and maintenance of VMware ESXi systems.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience as a systems administrator in medium-sized or larger companies.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in security and IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge includes M365 (including Entra ID, Intune for Android, Apple and Microsoft devices, and SharePoint).
  • Solid networking knowledge in TCP/IP, IPv6 and IPSec VPN.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft and Linux system landscapes.
  • Proficient with VMware, Fibre Channel, Veeam and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong expertise in information security and cyber security.
  • Basic SAP knowledge is desirable.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
