About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support in maintaining and further developing our automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS
  • Maintenance and upkeep of existing hosting VMs and instances
  • Communication with our data center service provider
  • Participation in migrating the hosting environment to container technologies to optimize resource usage
  • Creation and implementation of technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing management structures
  • Shared responsibility for securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good to very good degree in an IT-related field or completed vocational training in computer science, or equivalent knowledge acquired through professional experience
  • Experience administering an automated hosting environment
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools
  • Experience in the technical administration of web applications
  • Administration of Linux server systems
  • Knowledge of tools: Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, Puppet
  • Very good German language skills (C1 or higher)
