About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the maintenance and further development of our automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS
- Maintenance and upkeep of existing hosting VMs and instances
- Communication with our data center service provider
- Participation in migrating the cloud environment to container technologies to optimize resource utilization
- Development and implementation of technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing management structures
- Shared responsibility for securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good to very good degree in an IT-related field or completed vocational training in computer science, or equivalent skills acquired through professional experience
- Experience administering an automated hosting environment
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container tools
- Experience in the technical administration of web applications
- Administration of Linux server systems
- Knowledge of tools: Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, Puppet
- Very good German language skills (C1 or higher)
