About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead execution of construction management services for Yosemite National Park and other assigned NPS projects
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality performance
  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams, including CMRs, environmental consultants, and commissioning agents
  • Ensure timely delivery of contract requirements and project deliverables
  • Provide project status reporting and recommendations to PSI leadership
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Contracting Officers, CORs, and government stakeholders
  • Advise NPS staff on facility sustainment, repair, modernization, and capital improvement initiatives
  • Monitor contract compliance, quality assurance, and construction administration activities
  • Manage change control, issue resolution, and risk mitigation
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and compliance with contract requirements
  • Coordinate site surveys, engineering support, and technical deliverables
  • Mentor project staff and promote continuous improvement
  • Support proposal development and follow-on task order opportunities
  • Ensure personnel maintain required clearances, certifications, and training requirements
  • Respond to Yosemite National Park within 48 hours when needed and serve as on-site CMR during staffing gaps or planned absences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification required
  • 10+ years of project management experience within construction/engineering or program management environments
  • 8+ years of federal construction project management experience
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects across geographically dispersed locations
  • Experience supporting federal agencies, ideally the National Park Service or similar organizations
  • Ability to lead complex construction management projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience directing consultants, subcontractors, and technical personnel
  • Knowledge of construction quality management, project controls, scheduling, contract administration, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition processes and funding requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Experience managing project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Ability to respond to Yosemite National Park within 48 hours when needed
  • Willingness to travel approximately 12 times per year and occasionally within CONUS
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and Puerto Rico without sponsorship, now or in the future
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Certified Construction Quality Manager certification preferred or ability to obtain
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect license preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
