About the role
- Develop concept sketches and a consistent visual style aligned with Project Soar’s brand and the Soar Your Way color palette.
- Create 15 finalized illustrations, covering the PS empowerment activities.
- Include diversity in characters (age, background, ability, dress, and identity) to ensure representation.
- Design visuals that align with Soar Dialogues and Soar Clubs concepts, illustrating community, empowerment, and advocacy.
- Provide editable source files and export-ready formats (PNG, SVG, PDF).
- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator and Graphic Designer to maintain coherence across materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in illustration, visual storytelling, and character design.
- Strong understanding of gender-sensitive and culturally inclusive design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar professional illustration tools.
- Experience creating educational and nonprofit-oriented visuals.
- Ability to deliver files optimized for both print and digital formats.
- Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
