About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Become the dedicated finance lead for a portfolio of schools
Work closely with Headteachers and operational leaders to understand financial performance
Identify risks and opportunities while providing meaningful commercial insight
Review management accounts and investigate variances
Support budgeting and forecasting
Help school leaders understand how financial decisions impact operational performance
Explain the numbers and work collaboratively to improve them.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in management accounting or finance business partnering
Strong financial knowledge
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Comfort in analysing financial information
Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (desirable)
Strong understanding of management accounts and Profit & Loss reporting
Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values
Effective time management for planning, delivery, and assessment.
