About the role
- Develop software components for the demodulation and decoding of radio signals across a wide range of application domains
- Take responsibility for the design, development, documentation, and testing of the respective software components
- Develop numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility, and performance
- Perform bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols, from channel decoding up to the application layer
- Work with modern C++ and Python technologies (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
- Collaborate in an agile team with close technical exchange among colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent experience
- Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Strong experience in software development with C++ and Python
- Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication style and a solution-oriented mindset
- Very good German and English language skills
