About the role

  • Development of software components for the demodulation and decoding of radio signals from a wide range of application areas
  • Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation and testing of these software components
  • Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility and performance
  • Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols, from channel decoding to the application layer
  • Working with modern C++ and Python technologies (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
  • Collaboration in an agile team with close technical exchange with colleagues

Requirements

  • Degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, physics or equivalent qualifications
  • Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
  • Strong experience in software development with C++ and Python
  • Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
  • Open communication and a strong problem-solving focus
  • Very good German and English language skills.
