About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Your customers are local and multinational manufacturers across various industries.
- Communicate with customers about global market and supply situations.
- Build strong, long-term relationships and expand supply opportunities.
- Drive business development through market research and the acquisition of new customer relationships.
- Collaborate with internal partners, including Product Management and Inside Sales, for support.
- Maintain up-to-date internal reports.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in business with volatile chemical raw materials or specialties for industrial customers is mandatory.
- Strong sales personality with the ability to represent the company at all negotiation levels.
- Ability to establish and maintain trust-based relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and willingness to learn new tools.
- Good numerical literacy and the ability to interpret figures and statistics.
- Flexibility to organize and manage diverse challenges effectively.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 50%).
- Fluent in English and the local language.
