About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- 2nd and 3rd level support for Microsoft-based infrastructures
- Handle incidents in a structured and sustainable way — from analysis and resolution to root-cause assessment
- Maintain and further develop the Modern Workplace infrastructure
- Work closely with the Service Desk and take over incidents
- Plan and execute standard changes, e.g. patch, maintenance and operational changes
- Operate and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory and related Microsoft services
- Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks
- Document incidents, solutions and workarounds in a clear and traceable manner
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from Operations and Service Delivery Management
- Participate in on-call duty and assist with critical incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training or a degree in IT and professional experience in operational IT
- Practical experience handling incidents in a 2nd/3rd level support environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures such as Windows Server and Active Directory; ideally experience with Exchange and/or SQL
- Initial experience with Microsoft cloud technologies (M365, Azure, AVD, etc.)
- Understand the difference between Incident, Problem and Change
- Self-reliant, structured and calm in incident situations
- Able to document technical issues clearly and understandably
- Service-oriented, strong communication skills and a team player
- Fluent in German and English
