About the role
- Design, deploy and manage network architecture across global sites (LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPNs).
- Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Implement network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, access controls).
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support network changes, expansions and migrations.
- Maintain network documentation: diagrams, configurations, inventories and run-books.
- Participate in network incident response and post-incident analysis.
- Support network equipment provisioning (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls) and vendor coordination.
- Provide periodic network health reports, improvement recommendations and capacity planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Proven expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN.
- Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, network security best-practices and segmentation.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, SIEM).
- Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) and troubleshooting at scale.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time role while coordinating with full-time stakeholders.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-tech stakeholders.
- English language fluency.
