About the role

  • Join Prisma as a Junior Developer Advocate to help grow Prisma’s community and product adoption.
  • Create content: tutorials, guides, blog posts; support product launches; collaborate with senior advocates.
  • Engage with developers on Twitter, Discord, and other platforms; answer questions; build community.
  • Build small demo apps, templates, and example projects to show Prisma usage.
  • Share developer feedback with the broader team; assist with reviews and processes; learn from seniors.

Requirements

  • Passionate about developer education and helping others learn.
  • Experience writing tutorials, blog posts, or documentation.
  • Technical experience in building projects in Node.js and TypeScript (other frameworks a plus).
  • Familiarity with relational databases (especially Postgres).
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable engaging with developers online in communities like Discord or Twitter.
  • Growth mindset—open to feedback, eager to learn, and proactive in execution.
  • Contributing to open-source projects (plus).
  • Prior community involvement (e.g. Discord mods, open-source maintainers, meetups) (plus).
  • Basic video or content editing skills (plus).
