About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise the finance departments of leading banks
- Deliver major regulatory transformation projects: ESG, Basel IV, CRR3/CRD6, IREF, BIRD, etc.
- Manage and monitor liquidity ratios: LCR, NSFR, etc.
- Manage and monitor solvency ratios: RWA, SCR, etc.
- Manage and monitor resolution ratios: LDR, MREL, TLAC, etc.
- Bring regulatory and prudential reporting into compliance, particularly FINREP and COREP, following recommendations from the ECB or other supervisory bodies
- Optimize internal controls and risk management
- Formalize target processes and governance frameworks
- Support business teams during the implementation of new tools
- Improve and secure data quality for regulatory reporting production, including impact analyses, solution recommendations, and implementation
- Contribute to the firm’s projects and support the development of colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (equivalent to a French Bac+5) from a business school or university, or a DSCG, Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Auditing (CCA), or Master’s degree in Finance
- At least 2 years of experience in a consulting or audit firm, financial institution, or banking regulator (ACPR, ECB, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of high-impact national and international reporting requirements and regulations: IFRS, BCBS 239, COREP, FINREP, SURFI, Basel, etc.
- And/or proficiency in project management methodologies and tools: Agile methodology, planning, budget management, quality planning, team leadership, and coordination
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English
