Aid in stakeholder analysis across all levels to understand current and future needs for large and complex datasets and databases.
Collaborate with analytics leadership to develop a strategic roadmap for analytic resources and reporting platforms.
Develop, construct, test and maintain data architecture, ELT processes, logical and physical data models, data marts, metadata repositories and data warehouse designs.
Optimize data retrieval, develop dataset processes and algorithms, and improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Contribute to and maintain business glossary and resources to foster cross-functional collaboration on analytical data resources.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved delivery, automation and actionable insights.
Provide technical guidance to the analytics function and projects; build and test proofs of concept to demonstrate business value.
Cross-train, support and work closely with Data Scientists, Systems Analysts, Report Developers, and Database Administrators.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering or another IT-related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
High School diploma or GED is required.
5 years of experience in IT, to include 3 years data analytics engineering and experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work or visa residency sponsorship.
Demonstrated ability to architect, develop and maintain cloud technologies.
Understanding of relational and dimensional modeling to facilitate data wrangling, code operationalization and exploration of data.
Ability to develop, maintain, review and translate data models.
Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and ELT implementations and experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
Basic proficiency with version control software, preferably Git.
Understanding of Pharmacy Benefit Management / Healthcare eco system (preferred).
Programming experience with 4th generation and 3rd generation computer languages such as Python and R (preferred).
Experience with multiple relational database platforms such as Teradata (preferred).
Experience with open source software and databases (preferred).
Experience working with end users to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation (preferred).
Experience building and maintaining data and analytics systems / products using common BI tools and Cloud products (preferred).
Basic familiarity with UNIX (preferred).
