About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead-level backend ownership
- Make architecture decisions independently
- Design backend services in NestJS and TypeScript, from schema to production
- Build and maintain GraphQL APIs across a microservices environment
- Own database design, optimization, and reliability in Postgres
- Define technical direction, not just implementation details
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical solutions
- Contribute to system design, infrastructure decisions, testing strategy, and developer productivity
- Operate in an AI-first workflow without compromising engineering standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must have at least 3+ years of work experience with Development
- Experience with Node.Js, Typescript, NestJs, GraphQL, and Postgres
- Strong with AI tools in software engineering workflows
- Able to use AI to speed up implementation, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving
- Degree in IT or Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
