About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain new features for our internal application, including:
In-app shopping functionality
Enhanced employee performance and tracking tools
Client-facing UX improvements
Connections with third-party APIs
Integrate AI capabilities into internal tools and customer-facing experiences using the Anthropic API (Claude), including features such as intelligent assistants, automated workflows, and smart data summaries
Build and maintain AI-powered features including prompt pipelines, tool use / function calling, and agentic workflows where appropriate
Use AI coding tools (such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) as a standard part of your development workflow to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality
Collaborate on UX/UI improvements across internal tools and customer-facing website
Implement and analyze A/B testing strategies to optimize site performance and CRO
Maintain and improve code quality, security, and scalability
Participate in planning sessions and provide technical guidance on project direction — including advising on where AI can meaningfully improve our systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise on both website functionality and application

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a full-stack developer (3+ years preferred)
Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies
Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic/Claude strongly preferred; OpenAI acceptable) into production applications
Comfortable working with prompt engineering, context management, and tool use / function calling patterns
Experience designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on usability
Familiarity with A/B testing tools and UX experimentation
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a part-time setting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong eye for design implementation and translating brand vision across all platforms
Strong proficiency in: React Native, C# / ASP.NET, and Shopify & Shopify Liquid
