About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical, administrative, and patient support to ensure efficient Radiology department operations
- Review imaging orders, scheduled procedures, and patient records to verify required documentation
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate diagnostic imaging procedures
- Utilize Epic, RIS, PACS, and other departmental systems to accurately enter, access, maintain, and distribute patient and imaging information
- Assist patients with registration documents, exam preparation, wayfinding, changing attire, and access to examination and waiting areas
- Transport patients safely within the department and between clinical care areas as required
- Prepare, clean, disinfect, and maintain examination rooms, holding bays, waiting areas, equipment, supplies, and accessories
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma, or GED equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Actively enrolled as a student in an accredited Radiologic Technology program in preparation of registry (ARRT/ARDMS)
