About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out staffing setup and operation of the high-speed bottling lines to meet production standards and customer expectations
- Support the Production Shift Supervisor and Shift Lead with training and development of production line personnel
- Perform basic machine operations, including stacking raw material, handling finished product cases, quality inspections, and minor machine adjustments
- Ensure training and orientation of production employees according to published Lesson Plans
- Oversee the production line to ensure quality products are produced safely
- Operate bottling line equipment and perform prescribed quality tests
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and follow safety guidelines
- Immediately report emergencies, injuries, and production incidents to the production supervisor
- Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED is required
- Some leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Some manufacturing experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer is preferred
- Prior knowledge of GMP’s, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time – 12-hour shifts
- Basic math skills are needed
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Good organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills – oral and written
- Must be involved and committed to workplace safety
- Must follow established Good Manufacturing Practices
- Must work 5pm–5:10am on a 2-2-3 shift schedule
