About the role
- Focus on management and career development of CRAs and In House CRAs.
- Provide oversight and coordination of project activities.
- Generate action plans and support project resourcing.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations Management Team to ensure resource needs are met.
- Develop, mentor, manage and coach CRA staff.
- Perform accompanied site visits to assess CRA skills and needs.
- Identify quality risks and recommend corrective action plans.
- Ensure staff have proper resources and access to systems.
- Ensure timely updates of administrative materials.
- Work with Clinical Operations to improve CRA expectations and procedures.
- Develop and maintain metrics pertinent to CRA resource oversight.
- Participate in interview process for new CRAs.
- Conduct onboarding training for new CRA staff.
- Manage CRA staff in accordance with company values and policies.
Requirements
- Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline
- Candidates should have at least 7 years or more experience in clinical operations.
- Must have experience working as a Clinical Trial Manager for a Clinical Research Organisation or Pharma/Biotech company.
- Should have at least 1 year experience working as a direct line manager.
- Ability to drive and availability for domestic and international travel including overnight stays, with an expectation of travel approximately 25%.
- Be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
