About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead efficient, scalable and customer-focused HR delivery across the employee lifecycle
- Serve as senior Americas Employee and Labor Relations leader
- Advise regional and global leaders on workforce strategy, transformation, restructuring, footprint optimization and workforce flexibility
- Translate business and people priorities into regional and local implementation plans with ownership, dependencies, readiness and governance
- Strengthen HR partnership at country, site and plant level
- Drive service excellence and continuous improvement using performance data, stakeholder feedback, process redesign, digital tools and AI-enabled choices
- Lead, develop and evolve a high-performing HR Business Services organization
- Build credibility with business leaders, HR, Legal, employees, unions and works councils
- Maintain accountability, follow-through, service quality, business value and people development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive progressive HR leadership experience, ideally 20+ years
- Broad HR generalist foundation and strong HR Business Partner experience
- Proven leadership of HR Business Services, HR Operations or equivalent delivery organization at scale across multiple countries in the Americas
- Deep Employee and Labor Relations expertise, including complex and employee-represented environments
- Strong manufacturing, site or plant exposure
- Business acumen connecting workforce choices with productivity, cost, risk and employee experience
- Track record leading transformation, restructuring, organizational change and continuous improvement in a global matrix organization
- Strong judgment and executive influence
- Ability to create practical, compliant paths forward in ambiguous or high-pressure situations
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, Business or a related field
- Candidates should live within a practical commuting distance of a PPG office or be open to relocation
