About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems requirements
  • Serve as the plant’s key contact and spokesperson for product process matters
  • Develop and maintain Process Maps, Control Plans, Flow Charts, and PFMEAs for existing products and processes
  • Conduct onsite process audits and retrain supervisors and operators as needed
  • Standardize formulas and routings to direct batch completion
  • Identify key materials and processes
  • Collaborate with Technical, Production, and related departments to optimize formulas and processes
  • Improve operating processes using Lean and automation technology
  • Define manufacturing processes for new products and develop Process Maps, Control Plans, Flow Charts, and PFMEAs
  • Agree with the Technical Department on appropriate QC testing
  • Introduce products to customers with the Technical Department and ensure production meets end-user needs
  • Implement the FLC process for successful production of new or revised formulations and processes
  • Source and introduce equipment to meet product and process requirements
  • Ensure Product Stewardship requirements are followed
  • Collaborate with Production, Technical, and related departments to define and solve product and process problems using Sigma Logic and DOE

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the plant, Technical Department, sales organization, and customers
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Build Respect
  • Minimum B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a relevant major
  • Good English communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of Process Safety Management
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems
