About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • End to end monthly payroll processing including input delivery, output and audit checks
  • Collation of data to be provided timely to the Payroll partner at agreed cut off dates
  • Working through a full set of monthly checks, gross to gross, net to net, understanding and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing post payroll activities including any local statutory filing and payment reconciliations
  • Responding to employee questions with moderate complexity and resolving queries
  • Support report requests from HR partners, managers and Finance
  • Working with internal and external audit teams
  • Develop good internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
  • Use initiative to solve problems daily
  • Drive enhancement in the current processes to ensure optimum delivery
  • Document key payroll processes with standard SOP’s & DTP’s

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree, vocational training or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience of local Payroll & TAA
  • Strong familiarity with Payroll & TAA legislation
  • Strong knowledge of Payroll & TAA processing including the ability to work to deadlines with total accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse complex data sets
  • Experience in using Quality tools to ensure efficiency and functionality of payroll processes
  • Experience in the following areas: MS Office, MS SharePoint & Teams
  • Fluent German (written and spoken)
  • Good communication skills in English
