About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage industrial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
- Oversee project budgeting, estimating, and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for project management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage complex multiple facet projects along with managing multiple million-dollar projects.
- Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Handle change orders and document control, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Prepare and review submittals, shop drawings, and project closeout documentation.
- Must be able to communicate to various levels of management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Construction, or Manufacturing Engineering required.
- 3+ years' experience in Project Management within chemical, aerospace, industrial commercial construction.
- Ability and willingness to travel to multiple manufacturing sites within the US and potentially overseas, up to 25%.
- In-depth understanding of budgeting, estimating and project control methodologies.
- Familiarity with design / build process, commercial / industrial construction standards and or Front End Engineering process (FEL 0-3 stages).
- Proficient in project management software.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
