Cloud Engineer

• Analyze, design, implement, and manage PPG's Alibaba cloud environment and supporting infrastructure. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and design cloud solution architectures and deliver solutions that meet business and IT needs. • Lead projects to continuously improve standards related to architecture, governance, and security of public cloud environments. • Oversee and continuously enhance PPG's Alibaba Cloud platform, including core IT infrastructure shared services. • Optimize the cost of cloud solutions through rightsizing, waste-finding, automation, and reserved instances. • Collaborate with cloud architects, security architects, and frontline IT teams to ensure cloud security and regulatory compliance. • Demonstrate a passion for learning, keeping up to date on technical advancements, and industry trends. • Promote the use of cloud technologies across the IT organization alongside fellow engineers, change management, and communication.
