About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive analysis of compensation programs, including base salary and variable pay
- Evaluate market data and industry trends to ensure competitive compensation packages
- Support job evaluation and pricing, with alignment to global frameworks
- Provide recommendations on salary adjustments, promotions, and offers
- Maintain and update salary structures, ranges, and job mapping
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness plans
- Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure effective plan design, cost management, and compliance with legal requirements
- Analyze benefits use and costs trends
- Educate employees on available benefits options and help resolve benefits-related inquiries or issues
- Contribute to the development and implementation of regional and global total rewards initiatives
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders on policy design and governance
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs and recommend adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal TR policies
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Help with audits and provide necessary data and documentation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret compensation and benefits data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for HR and leadership teams, providing relevant recommendations based on data analysis
- Leverage advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, modeling)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, ideally with exposure to China market
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken)
- Proficiency in reading Chinese
- Strong Excel skills (data analysis, modeling)
- Experience using Workday or similar HRIS
- Excellent analytical thinking combined with attention to details
