About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize production schedules.
  • Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand forecasts and inventory goals.
  • Create and release production orders in the ERP system (SAP/Oracle).
  • Coordinate with sales and logistics departments to prioritize urgent or special orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Manage risks of stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Analyze measurements: OTIF, Fill Rate, Schedule Adherence, Inventory Turns.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the production process and propose improvement solutions.
  • Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) projects.
  • Be a contact for escalations related to product availability.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in production planning in the coatings, chemical, or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience in batch manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in planning tools: MRP, MPS, S&OP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel (can write advanced macros) and data analysis tools.
  • Desirable: APICS CPIM or CSCP / DDMRP certification.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
