About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop raw material supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory policies.
Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
Ensure planning master data accuracy, including lead times, sourcing rules, and planning methods.
Communicate material risks, constraints, and mitigation plans to internal stakeholders.
Analyze trends and cause of planning issues and propose improvement actions.
Manage raw material inventory levels to balance service level and working capital targets.
Review and maintain safety stock and planning parameters to reflect demand and supply variability.
Identify and guide next steps to reduce excess, obsolete, slow‑moving, or expired raw materials.
Create purchase orders for RMs and FGs based on supply plans.
Support supplier performance monitoring by tracking on-time delivery, lead time adherence, and supply reliability.
Coordinate with suppliers, QC, and other teams to resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and shelf-life extensions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience managing raw materials in a manufacturing environment, supply planning, material planning or manufacturing planning roles.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools and ERP system (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
Ability to interpret planning data and exceptions.
Good communication and negotiation skills
