About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop raw material supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory policies.
- Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure planning master data accuracy, including lead times, sourcing rules, and planning methods.
- Communicate material risks, constraints, and mitigation plans to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze trends and cause of planning issues and propose improvement actions.
- Manage raw material inventory levels to balance service level and working capital targets.
- Review and maintain safety stock and planning parameters to reflect demand and supply variability.
- Identify and guide next steps to reduce excess, obsolete, slow‑moving, or expired raw materials.
- Create purchase orders for RMs and FGs based on supply plans.
- Support supplier performance monitoring by tracking on-time delivery, lead time adherence, and supply reliability.
- Coordinate with suppliers, QC, and other teams to resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and shelf-life extensions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing raw materials in a manufacturing environment, supply planning, material planning or manufacturing planning roles.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools and ERP system (Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Ability to interpret planning data and exceptions.
- Good communication and negotiation skills
