About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accurate data and analysis related to product costs, manufacturing, and distribution operations
- Manage the Operations Finance activities for numerous US plant locations
- Lead a team of 8 Operations Finance team members
- Oversee month end close activities related to manufacturing operations
- Support team in providing profit analysis and communication of manufacturing spend results
- Manage completion of inventory accounts including trend analysis and monthly account reconciliation approvals
- Support the team in completion of the annual budget and product re-costs to support accurate inventory valuation
- Ensure team members procedures are performed following internal control requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 6+ years of finance and accounting experience
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with large Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, or QAD
- Technical proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
