About the role

  • Integrity and administration of activities within the Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time Collection system to ensure proper collection, distribution and reporting of R&D labor costs for PPG's Allison Park and Monroeville locations.
  • Maintain integrity of the employee and contract employee data within the Deltek systems; communicate with HR Shared Services, HR representatives, Finance Managers and Supervisors to ensure employee records are accurate.
  • Deltek Projects and Mapping Tables: maintenance on non-Government R&D projects and mapping table updates as required. Coordinate with Portfolio Process Owner on mapping for the PLM system.
  • Assign Employee Workforce to Projects: Maintain workforce on the Deltek projects across R&D sites. Coordinate with finance managers and R&D site project managers to ensure proper workforce is assigned to R&D and Government project numbers.
  • Deltek Time Collection System: Importing employee data file into the Deltek time collection system from Deltek Costpoint. Provide time collection training for new employees and provide support to approximately 500+ users as required; Maintain a log of user training for the time collection system and timekeeping policy acknowledgement forms.
  • Payroll Reporting: Responsible for review and reporting of non-exempt timesheets for completeness and accuracy; Submit the Bi-Weekly report for approval and payroll processing.
  • Audit Assistance: Assist with Incurred Cost, CFR required grant audits, provisional rate audit; Includes collection and review of requested documentation and helping prepare spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in accounting, timekeeping or related experience.
  • Experience with financial systems, maintaining project records and/or departmental costs.
  • Working knowledge of time collection administration, time keeping policy and compensation rules.
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency.
  • Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally with different levels of an organization.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or Deltek Timekeeping system, project accounting, and file transfers would be advantageous.
