About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

ensure that operational expenses are recorded and compliant with accounting policies and internal guidelines
act as the bridge between operations and finance, translating operational activities into accurate accounting entries
monitor and analyze distribution-related costs, including cross-docking, logistics services, service levels, and penalties
review and validate customer charges, identifying discrepancies and working with internal teams to resolve incorrect or unjustified costs
manage the credit note process, including validation, documentation, approval, and follow-up
ensure all supporting documentation for financial transactions is complete, accurate, and properly maintained
support the control and tracking of freight and logistics expenses
review the accuracy and consistency of accounting records related to key operational expenses
identify deviations, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions to improve financial accuracy and control
develop and maintain reports and analysis that provide visibility into expenses and support business decision-making
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between operational activities and financial reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–2 years of experience in general accounting
degree in accounting
understanding of accounting principles
experience in expense control, financial analysis, or cost tracking (preferred)
intermediate Excel skills
familiarity with ERP or accounting systems
comfortable working with large volumes of data
basic to intermediate English skills
