About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage an Approved Supplier List (ASL) through on-site audits and supplier qualification
Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace regulations, customer-specific requirements, and industry standards
Perform supplier assessments and production readiness assessments to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
Mentor suppliers in Continuous Improvement Management principles to optimize the supply chain
Conduct value stream and capacity analyses, proposing process improvements
Support New Product Introduction by ensuring supplier capacity and capability
Investigate supplier non-conformances and drive corrective actions by issuing SCARs to maintain a reliable and high-quality supply chain
Analyze supplier SCAR metrics to identify trends and root causes of systemic issues
Maintain open communication with suppliers, providing feedback on performance and addressing any quality concerns or issues
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure that high-quality parts and services meet all requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree required
Bachelor's degree in STEM field preferred (Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or similar)
3+ years of related Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Engineering experience
Auditor certification preferred (QMS Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification)
Able to travel domestic and internationally up to 50% of time as needed
