About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Sylmar Aerospace plant as a part of the Operations Finance Team
Participate in plant meetings to provide insight on results, collect information and challenge performance
Improve productivity through analytics and projects including scrap, productivity, capacity use and addressing bottlenecks
Collaborate with Operations Accounting to provide variance analysis
Complete month end closing activities such as journal entries and review of account balances
Work with plant leadership team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for capital spending

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
6+ years of experience prior cost accounting or manufacturing financial support experience required
ERP experience required- QAD, Oracle or SAP experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
