About the role

  • Support monthly estimate and annual planning process for global corporate costs
  • Prepare corporate deviation analysis supporting monthly review with senior management
  • Support monthly close process for corporate functions
  • Work with the Corporate Accounting Analyst including review of journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support the accounting, reporting, and financial statement preparation for the PPG Foundation
  • Maintain a robust control environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of financial accounting principles and internal controls
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experienced in summarizing detailed information
  • Proven track record of exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Experience with Oracle G/L and Oracle-BI Application, Hyperion Financial Management preferred
  • CPA License preferred
