About the role
- Respond to technical inquiries from clients and sales teams by providing solutions tailored to construction sites.
- Conduct site visits and provide customized recommendations on PPG solutions.
- Train and support the sales force on technical aspects related to building products.
- Provide technical support to clients and partners in selecting, applying, and implementing anti-corrosion systems.
- Perform technical inspections and participate in validating solutions on industrial sites.
- Provide guidance on standards, certifications and regulations specific to corrosion protection (ISO, Norsok, etc.).
- Participate in managing technical claims in coordination with commercial departments and internal services.
- Maintain technical and competitive intelligence on the building and corrosion protection segments.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering, business school or equivalent with a technical specialization.
- Experience in technical support, preferably in the building and/or corrosion protection sectors.
- Technical knowledge of paints, coatings and application systems.
- Familiarity with building regulations and corrosion standards (ISO, Norsok, etc.) is a major asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong teaching ability and diplomacy.
- Analytical skills, rigor and autonomy in a demanding environment.
- Professional English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
