About the role
- Manage, control, coordinate, and ensure customs compliance of Import Operations in Foreign Trade.
- Ensure the correct submission of the Electronic Value Declaration.
- Comply with Customs Law, the TIGIE, and current tax regulations.
- Minimize legal, financial, and operational risks.
- Coordinate daily import operations with involved departments, customs agents, and internal areas.
- Ensure that complete and correct import documentation is available.
- Monitor regulatory updates and propose compliance actions.
- Monthly goal tracking.
- Handle Incoterms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Customs Law, Accounting.
- 5 years of experience in the Foreign Trade area handling imports (Operational and legal aspects).
- Knowledge of import promotion programs.
- Fluent in English.
- Advanced Excel management.
- Knowledge in filling out customs declarations.
- Experience in international invoicing and transfer pricing.
- Broad knowledge in customs valuation.
- Knowledge and use of VUCEM.
- Knowledge of the Customs Law, Fiscal Code, Incoterms, international customs legislation, promotion programs IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA, TIGIE and General Rules of Foreign Trade (RGCE).
