About the role
- Lead a global Procurement COE analytics team to ensure and enhance analytics, reporting, and financial planning.
- COE standardizes, optimizes, and globalizes processes and data intelligence for the Procurement function.
- Work locations: Pittsburgh or Mexico City; report to Manager, Procurement COE; in-office Monday through Thursday.
- Key responsibilities: Reporting improvement plans; Advanced raw material price forecasting improvements; Rate-Volume-Mix analyses; Forecasts vs actuals (price and savings); Supply chain initiatives; Functional budget exercises; Change management.
- Translate financial impact of external events (geopolitical, force majeure), commodity movements, inflation/deflation, etc.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, Engineering or Business-related field of study.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA in Finance or related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of finance oriented related experience in forecasting, budgeting, and planning is required.
- Previous job project management is required.
- Comfortable with coordination of global initiatives and navigating in a matrix organization across time zones and diverse cultures and working styles.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, ETLs, SQL, Python, etc.
