About the role
- Lead and manage all aspects of programs at various stages of the PLM process.
- Drive programs from concept and qualification (Gates 2-5) through production and sunset (Gates 5-7).
- Develop detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Collaborate and drive engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, R&D and procurement teams.
- Maintain customer communications in all programmatic aspects from gate 2 through gate 7.
- Ensure all aerospace transparencies comply with relevant customer requirements, industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, MIL-STD) and internal quality requirements.
- Prepare and present regular program status reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in engineering field is required.
- Aerospace specific industry experience is preferred.
- Minimum of Five (5) years of program management or engineering experience in aerospace or defense industries.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace transparency materials (e.g., acrylics, polycarbonates, glass), manufacturing processes, and testing methods.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferred.
