About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain our web application
Design and own our data layer — schema and table design, relationships and indexing, and query/load optimization to ensure performance as the system scales
Design queues, background jobs, and long-running workflows that remain correct and reliable under heavy load
Contribute to architectural decisions, influence the direction of our stack, and inform the overall product vision
Build robust pipelines for document and email processing and third-party integrations that handle volume spikes gracefully
Build and optimize agents for our growing template library
Extend our RAG/knowledge-base system (embeddings, semantic search, re-ranking)
Operate in an AI-first development setup powered by Claude and Cursor
Manage version control and team collaboration via GitHub

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science, OR hands-on programming experience, OR experience with automation
Proficient English for smooth team communication
No German required
Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working under performance pressure
Quick learner with a disciplined, self-driven work approach
