About the role
- Oversee global revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606
- Review customer contracts and amendments in partnership with Sales and Legal
- Ensure accurate revenue cut-off, deferred revenue and contract asset/liability accounting
- Maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures and supporting documentation
- Support quarterly and annual close processes
- Oversee worldwide cost accounting activities
- Ensure accurate standard costing, variance analysis and margin reporting
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to understand cost drivers
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses
- Support external audits and internal SOX controls related to revenue and inventory
- Lead worldwide Oracle instance and related business information systems
- Manage and mentor a team of revenue and cost accounting professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA Required
- 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Deep experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Hands on experience using and maintaining Oracle
- Experience supporting a global close process in a public company in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and manage complex accounting issues
