About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, permitting, commissioning, and operations
- Analyze system and equipment performance to drive improvements in reliability, efficiency, and safety
- Support and advance power generation initiatives, including system performance optimization and maintenance strategies
- Collaborate with consultant engineering firms and internal engineering, drafting, purchasing, inspection, contracts, planning, and operations teams
- Support maintenance programs, outage planning, and troubleshooting efforts
- Lead design reviews and facilitate lessons learned initiatives
- Mentor and support the development of engineers and technical staff
- Lead or contribute to projects of increasing scope and complexity
- Design and optimize critical power generation systems supporting turbine operations, fuel gas systems, and overall facility performance
- Solve complex engineering challenges, improve system reliability, and contribute to long-term engineering strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university required
- Senior: Eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry required
- Staff: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university required
- Staff: Twelve (12)–fifteen (15) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry required
- Willingness to travel 25% to 50%
- Experience supporting project execution, including EPC, FEED, or large capital projects preferred
- Experience with maintenance programs, outage coordination, or operational systems preferred
- Proven ability to improve system performance and reliability preferred
- PE License preferred
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
