About the role

  • You are responsible for operating and further developing our GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ensuring efficient, error-free application delivery
  • You ensure the deployment and operation of applications on Kubernetes
  • You are responsible for monitoring REST and SOAP interfaces
  • You actively drive continuous improvement and automation to increase system stability and application availability
  • You are responsible for connecting and operating applications with Oracle databases
  • You assist in shaping architecture and technology decisions
  • You enjoy working with different technologies and modern tools and actively contribute your knowledge to the team

Requirements

  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Platform Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization, Docker, Oracle, GitLab, and basic knowledge of Java-based applications and automated solutions
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to tackle complex problems, including taking unconventional approaches when necessary to find good solutions
  • Experience with interfaces (REST/SOAP)
  • A hands-on mentality and the confidence to get started and contribute immediately in an agile working environment
  • Excellent German skills and very good English skills
