About the role
- Design of forward-looking solutions in the field of logistics
- Active participation in the renewal of core shipment-data functionalities
- Design of functional extensions and modernization of systems
- Integration of applications, partner systems and platforms into the IT landscape
- Planning and design of solution architectures
- Consideration of quality, security and cost-effectiveness aspects
Requirements
- Degree in computer science (BSc, MSc or equivalent)
- Experience in design and implementation
- Broad knowledge of software development
- Understanding of service- and event-oriented architectures, ideally in Java and/or .NET environments
- Ability to perform source code analysis and to conduct peer code reviews and reverse-engineering tasks
- Knowledge of integration patterns, including messaging, event-driven and API-based approaches
- Agile working methods (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps)
- Spoken and written communication skills in German and good knowledge of English
