About the role
- Developing and implementing planning directives and system applications dedicated to service and roster planning
- Service and roster planning for personnel and vehicles
- Distributing personnel assignments
- Defining clear work instructions for effective planning
- Contributing to the development of future requirements for planning and dispatch systems
Requirements
- Tertiary-level specialized education, preferably in public transport, logistics, business/industrial engineering or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in public transport, logistics, business IT/management information systems, or transport planning
- Experience in requirements management and in planning and dispatch operations
- Knowledge of economic contexts and of the Swiss Federal Labour Act as it applies to public transport companies
- Proficiency with planning tools and experience in process design and optimization
- Excellent written and spoken French, and good oral knowledge of a second national language
