About the role
- Responsible for creating web application features.
- Develop a scalable, high performance and maintainable code.
- Work with web technologies built on Web, database, and caching technologies.
- Tune the performance for the web application.
- Get familiar with the existing web architecture and code base.
- Contributing to and taking ownership of Web features.
- Have a good collaboration within the team. Also, with other teams like Product, Design, QA, devOps etc
- Should participate in technical discussions and be able to evaluate the design and architecture of the solution to the problems.
- Come up with ideas/changes to improve the application both from performance and scalability perspective.
- Get involved in the application architecture discussions and propose changes that would improve the existing infrastructure.
- Should be able to independently drive feature development.
Requirements
- 5 years software development experience, including at least 2 years in building easy to use, responsive web applications
- Experience in any of the following is highly desirable - Node, Vue, React, Angular, Ruby on Rails, NoSQL technologies (i.e. MongoDB), AWS.
- Skills in building web development stack.
- Understanding and designing RESTful web services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
