About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Orchestration Architecture: Design and lead the implementation of the "Specialty Proxy" in Python, integrated with the AI ecosystem and providers.
RAG Engineering: Structure semantic retrieval pipelines to query technical manuals and parts databases, ensuring accurate diagnostics for residential and automotive services.
Multi-LLM Strategy: Manage model routing (Azure GPT, Anthropic Claude, Llama) based on cost, latency and technical complexity.
Technical & Business Interface: Translate revenue and conversion KPIs into AI technical requirements, ensuring that sentiment tagging (Twilio Intelligence) informs human escalation decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Python and AI Frameworks: Deep experience with LangChain and, critically, LangGraph (state machines for agents);
Conversational Channels Expertise: Strong experience with messaging APIs (Twilio Conversations, Meta WhatsApp Business API);
Data Architecture: Knowledge of large-scale system integrations, webhooks, gRPC and consumption of CRM APIs;
Language Model (LLM) Knowledge: Familiarity with Anthropic Claude, Azure AI Foundry and strategies for prompt engineering and function calling.
Modern Infrastructure: Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker and AI monitoring/observability.
