About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Orchestration Architecture: Design and lead the implementation of the "Specialty Proxy" in Python, connecting Twilio Agent Connect to our LangGraph engine.
RAG Engineering: Structure semantic search pipelines to query technical manuals and parts databases, ensuring accurate diagnostics for residential and automotive services.
Context and Memory Management: Implement coexistence with Twilio Conversation Memory to eliminate "amnesia" between channels (Magento, WhatsApp, Central).
Multi-LLM Strategy: Manage model routing (Azure GPT, Anthropic Claude, Llama) based on cost, latency, and technical complexity.
Technical & Business Interface: Translate revenue and conversion KPIs into AI technical requirements, ensuring sentiment tagging (Twilio Intelligence) feeds human escalation decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Python and AI Frameworks: Deep experience with LangChain and, critically, LangGraph (state machines for agents);
Conversational Channels Expertise: Strong experience with messaging APIs (Twilio Conversations, Meta WhatsApp Business API);
Data Architecture: Knowledge of large-scale system integrations, webhooks, gRPC, and consuming CRM APIs;
Language Model (LLM) Knowledge: Familiarity with Anthropic Claude, Azure AI Foundry, and prompt engineering and function-calling strategies.
Modern Infrastructure: Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and AI observability/monitoring.
Plus: Familiarity with the MCP (Model Context Protocol).
Previous experience in technical services or insurance sectors.
