About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as technical lead for backend development (Java) and cloud architecture (AWS).
Conduct technical refinements with the team and support shared decisions on architecture and solution design in AWS.
Lead the development of robust, scalable systems using Java and also contribute to hands-on coding.
Act as the focal point and technical translator with Information Security, Governance and Business areas.
Ensure code health through rigorous code reviews and promote best practices (Clean Code, SOLID).
Support automation efforts (CI/CD) and occasionally assist the team with ad-hoc frontend maintenance (Angular).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent communication, proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
Solid experience with Java (Spring Boot and related ecosystem).
Practical experience with AWS (core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs and messaging systems.
Unit and integration testing experience and a focus on software resilience.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Angular (for occasional support only).
Experience or familiarity with Mulesoft.
